Biography
Elke Jutta Jahn is Professor of Labour Economics at the University of Bayreuth and Distinguished Scholar at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) Nuremberg, Germany. Before joining the University of Bayreuth, she was Associate Professor at Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University, Denmark. She was a visiting scholar at the Center for European Studies, Harvard University (academic year 2006/2007) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Spring 2020). Since 2015 she is a member of the scientific board of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees and since 2020 member of the Bavarian Ethics Council.
